Paul Ackerman, CEO

Paul Ackerman, a native of New York City, graduated from the State University of New York at Buffalo in 1971 with a degree in English literature. Upon graduation he moved to the San Francisco area where he remained until 1985. There he began Dynamic Screenprinters, a company which produced custom silk screen products ranging from decals to real estate signs.

In 1985 he moved to Miami and created Ackerman King & Associates, a full service advertising agency, that developed marketing strategies and creative work for  banks, medical companies and manufacturers.

Throughout his business career he pursued an interest in human behavior studying such Western thinkers as Abraham Maslow who pioneered work in the field of self actualization and Maxwell Maltz, father of psychocybernetics. As part of this interest he participated in transformational trainings and courses such as Est, The Forum and Insight.

Also influenced by Eastern philosophers and psychologists he studied the teachings of Swami Muktananda, Krishnamurti, Rajneesh and the Zen masters.

In 2002 he saw an opportunity to use his knowledge of human behavior to develop the Access Training, a two day program designed to bring transformation to the lives of its participants. In addition to the Access Training, the current Access Curriculum offers courses and seminars on Identity, Accomplishment, Communication, Leadership and Relationships.

For the corporate world he has created the Access Curriculum for Corporations. This curriculum applies the principles of the Access Training for personal development to corporate transformation.
